ACCESSIBILITY

We want everyone to be able to shop Schaeffer's Garment Hotel, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, screen magnifiers or other assistive technology.

Our goal

We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.

What we've done

• Every page works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
• Menus, buttons, forms and product options are labelled for screen readers, and changes to your cart are announced.
• Product photos have text descriptions.
• Text and background colours meet WCAG contrast requirements, and links in text are underlined.
• Slideshows can be paused, and animations stop if your device is set to reduce motion.
• The accessibility button at the bottom right of every page lets you enlarge text, raise contrast, highlight links, change the font and spacing, invert or desaturate colours, stop animations, use a reading guide, see a page outline, or have the page read aloud. Your choices are saved on your device.

Known limitations

• Checkout, Shop Pay, our chat and our email sign-up forms are provided by Shopify and other partners. We can't change their code, but we will pass on any problems you report.
• Some older blog and lookbook images may not have full descriptions yet. We are adding them.
